About the Opportunity

For penultimate year students, our paid 12-week internship program will runs from late November 2019 to February 2020. Whichever route you choose, you'll get a role which will add value to our business – with your own responsibilities and an opportunity to shine. Our internships give you an insight into the real world of business. You'll do real work and projects that that impact BP, our stakeholders and our customers. In some instances, you might also have the opportunity to take on part-time work after you've completed your internship with us.

In 2019/20 we have internships in the following disciplines:

  • Chemical Engineering, WA
  • Mechanical Engineering, WA

About You

We look for students with well-rounded life experiences. Your strong academic results will be supported by some work experience - everything from customer service to industry experience is great! You'll have strong organisational skills, and the ability to deliver results in a collaborative environment. Your agility to learn and adapt will be key, along the energy and ownership to make the most of this fantastic opportunity.

To be eligible for our program you will:

  • Be an Australian citizenship or permanent resident
  • Have academic results of credit average (65) or above
  • be in your penultimate year of study
  • be studying a relevant degree type
