Team Description

The Cisco IT User Devices team are responsible for the global delivery of all end user computing services within Cisco. This award winning team is responsible for the management of over 200,000 devices, including Windows, Mac, Linux and mobile.

What You’ll Do

This role is for a Graduate Data Analyst, primarily focusing on the development of business intelligence reporting.  As a new graduate, you will play your part in our team with these responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain business intelligence reports on our global fleet of devices sourcing from different reporting systems (e.g. SCCM, SAP Business Objects and other SQL database servers).
  • Undertake complex data investigations and data mining by extracting, cleansing, combining, manipulating and analysing large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Update monthly/quarterly business intelligence reports and ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Streamline/automate reporting processes.
  • Assist in producing business value cases.

Qualifications

  • Recent Bachelor's or Master's degree related to computer science, data analytics, data science, or mathematics are desirable.
  • You will be a tenacious problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and revel in translating raw data into meaningful insights. You will contribute to key business decisions by producing reliable insights via a good balance of analytical and technical skills. 
  • You will also pride yourself in being accountable for producing accurate and reliable numbers.
  • Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian or New Zealand Citizen

These additional skills are advantageous:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience using Power Pivot / Power Query advantageous.
  • Intermediate SQL querying skills.
  • Report development using SAP Business Objects.
  • Data visualization and presentation using Tableau.
