Your role

It is with great excitement that ConocoPhillips invites emerging engineers to apply for the ConocoPhillips Global Accelerate Program. The ConocoPhillips Global Accelerate Program is a three-year accelerated program that combines on-the-job work assignments, site rotations, technical and non-technical training, mentoring, and local and global networking opportunities to accelerate the development of early career engineering professionals.

About you

You bring a learning and growth mindset, and a genuine, open attitude about the combined role that fossil fuel and renewable energy organisations share to provide affordable, reliable energy through the energy transition. 

To be eligible for their program, you will:

  • Have successfully obtained tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering between 2021 and December 2023 (students currently in their final year of study are strongly encouraged to apply)
  • Be available to commence full-time employment in February 2024
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Be able to be mobile for interstate or global work rotations
  • Have strong alignment to our SPIRIT values
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • An unwavering willingness to learn and improve your professional and engineering skills
  • Have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the energy sector
