Calling all Engineering Graduates

As a Downer Engineering Graduate, you will work with the operational project teams and divisions to deliver a scope of work in accordance with project specifications, whilst ensuring the activities of subcontractors and suppliers are completed within set schedules and costs. This will involve procuring materials and services that comply with specifications, drawings and environment standards, and understanding how to measure plan costs, efficiencies, yields and quality of product as directed.

You will also develop the ability to read and understand plans, review design documentation to identify and constructability concerns and implement final plans. Delivery is critical to our ongoing success, as an Engineering Graduate you will be at the coalface of our operations ensuring we are delivering on our commitments to ourselves, our customers and our clients.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must:

  • be a recent graduate (within the past three years), or a penultimate year student graduating in early 2020;
  • have a relevant university degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Chemical/Process Engineering, Systems Engineering or Construction Management;
  • be mobile (able to work and live in any state of Australia); and
  • be achievement oriented and outcomes focused.
