About Dyson

Dyson is a global technology company on a mission to improve people’s lives: whether that be by making the air they breathe safe and clean, or by connecting them to high-performing machines which keep their homes clean.

Your role

The Marketing Internship role is based at their Sydney Head Office and will throw you into the real world with exciting and varied projects. It will give you the chance to dig into real problems from the start – contributing as much as you're learning. You will get a taste of what it is like to work at Dyson, on live projects and make an impact.

Over the course of the 12-week summer program, your experience will include:

  • Exposure to different parts of the marketing function including Retail, PR and Communications, digital and e-commerce, and activations
  • Work on current marketing projects
  • Hands-on opportunities to solve real business problems
  • Coaching and mentorship from our marketing professionals

You'll be encouraged to look in improbable places, experiment without fear and make mistakes. It's how we create machines that defy convention. And transform markets. From the bagless vacuum and heat-free hand dryer to bladeless fans and long-life lighting. Find out what it's like to be part of our vibrant culture.

Training & development

The role will be to drive creative development and production for all touch points as a member of Creative Hub with a focus on the support for owner experience, regularly contributing creative suggestions to enhance the journey. You will lead the delivery of the creatives including the adaptation or creation of assets for the digital/social media (which can include static and video, HTML 5 display assets, web banners, EDM, etc.) as well as the printed media (such as booklets/brochures, invitations, inserts, packaging, event collaterals, magazine ads, POS, etc.). To be successful in the role requires a high level of experience and understanding of graphic design fundamentals such as typesetting and layout.

Benefits

At Dyson, how they reward you is linked to their high-performance culture. But it’s about more than just salary and bonus. Through a package of financial, lifestyle and health benefits, they support whatever stage of life you're in and the moments that matter.

Work life balance

Their ambition is balanced with relaxation and recreation. Dyson's Sydney locations are great for making the most of fitness facilities and the sunny outdoors. International Towers is surrounded by waterfront restaurants and bars and hosts free Yoga, Pilates, and boot camps. Taren Point is close to the long beaches of Cronulla – ideal for an after-work surf or cycle through sweeping mangrove forests with cafés dotted among the trees. Team culture is at their core and they hold regular events including charity initiatives, monthly social lunches, and team bonding activities.
