Our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Boronia is GSK's largest manufacturing facility in the Southern Hemisphere exporting to over 30 markets around the world. It is also the fourth-largest sterile facility housing a state-of-the-art Blow-Fill-Seal production line. Blow-Fill-Seal uses innovative technology for advanced antiseptic liquid medicines.

The role is part of a small team of embedded business partners on site, and will provide specific insight support and challenge to the Site Leadership Team and department managers.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • GMS Boronia/Opiates production reporting and Standard Costs
  • Providing finance business partnering services to GMS, Boronia and Opiates Supply Chain through strong partnerships with decision makers to facilitate the best possible financial outcomes and drive real value
  • Reconciling, analysing and reporting GMS Boronia/Opiates stock balances and obsolete stock provision adequacy

What we're looking for in a candidate:

  • You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Business or Accounting
  • An interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry is favourable
  • Strong passion and interest in Finance
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High attention to detail, rigor and process
  • Excellent project management, to manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn (quickly)
  • Ability to quickly build strong internal & external networks
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving skills
