Your role

Interns will report to the Director of Early Talents, University Relations & Employee Branding. Participants will join the Electrification Business team.

About the internship:

Interns can expect to undertake impactful work in areas such as Inside Sales, Product Marketing, Business Analytics, Marketing, and Commercial Operations, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to team objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn about themselves and ABB’s dynamic global business.
  • Engage and collaborate with ABB leaders including managers and mentors who will help develop technical and leadership skills.
  • Aspire to achieve career goals at ABB by participating in professional development opportunities.
  • Deliver business results by completing challenging and meaningful assignments in a supportive environment.

Training & development

The ABB Internship Program is designed to develop your skills and grow you as a future leader of ABB. Participants can expect to gain an array of challenging and meaningful work experiences in their placements across ABB in the US. Interns start as a cohort and join with a comprehensive orientation that helps assimilate them into the ABB culture. After orientation, you will join your internship in their Electrification Business. Every internship is composed of impactful work to help build your skills and gain business knowledge while contributing to your team.

About you

Your background:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and graduating between Dec 2024 and June 2026.
  • Preferred relevant past internships or co-ops.
  • Excited to explore living/working in different parts of the US, and relocating for each rotation is possible. Relocation assistance is provided.
  • Desire to learn and grow from a diverse set of experiences and people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A growth mindset focused on continual learning and improvement.
  • Must have valid US work authorization and must not require sponsorship for an employment visa by ABB at any time in the future.
