The ANSTO Graduate Development Program
“We are looking for the next generation of scientists, engineers and business professionals who are excellent at what they do and passionate about a career in the amazing world of nuclear science” BE INSPIRED. BECOME INSPIRING. Regan Beckinsale, Early Career Talent and Development Leader
ANSTO aims to nurture the next generation of Australian graduates and provide strong foundations for exciting and fulfilling careers through our Graduate Development Program.
The ANSTO Graduate Development Program is a reputable leadership program focused on providing professional development opportunities and hands-on experience in the nuclear science and technology industry.
The ANSTO Year In Industry Program
The ANSTO Year In Industry Program is designed for students studying towards relevant scientific, engineering or information technology degrees who have at least one full year’s study remaining in their undergraduate or honours degree at the completion of their time at ANSTO. The program gives them the chance to apply the theory and practice of their chosen field in the context of the reality of the workplace, develop a work ethic (especially related to quality and safety) and use this experience to enhance the value of their remaining study.
ANSTO also benefits in a number of ways. Students bring fresh ideas and the latest in theory and practice to the workplace, challenge and sometimes improve ANSTO’s processes in the areas in which they are placed and contribute in a meaningful way to the projects and activities of ANSTO.
