The Role

As a Graduate Application Support Consultant, you will be placed on client site and will initially work alongside one of our Senior technicians while you build knowledge and gain experience. This initial placement will see you focus on incidents and service requests to provide 1st and 2nd level support to the business in our PLM and Asset Management software solutions.  

This position is on client site and while technical in nature, the amount of customer interaction cannot be understated. It also entails  other key facets of our company, including but not limited to: training, software testing, and creating technical documentation.

To be successful in this role you will need strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail and the curiosity to find out why things are failing, and how they can be resolved. You will provide your ideas and collaborate with the team to discover innovative solutions to the problems faced by our customer.

Essential Requirements

  • Must be an Australian Citizen
  • Must be willing to undergo security clearance check
  • Educated to a degree level or have equivalent experience
  • Strong academic tertiary record with Bachelor degree or higher in computer science, information systems or similar
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, server administration and configuration
  • Committed and ambitious, with a thirst to learn and develop
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to approach and solve incidents logically and methodically
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Be well presented and have a positive attitude

Desirable Requirements

  • Exposure to and/or experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Asset Management Solutions
  • Experience working in an Australian Department of Defence environment
  • Hold an existing NV1 or Baseline Security clearance is advantageous
  • Experience working in an ITIL compliant environment providing customer facing 1st and 2nd Level Support
