Salary at Australian National Audit Office (ANAO)
- Average rating for Salary, based on 20 reviews7.8 / 10
What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
High starting salary for a grad, maybe slightly less than other APS Departments but comes with greater opportunities for experience and career progression. N/A for bonuses at my level.
Quite high for graduate level and super is fantastic.
No bonuses, but automatic promotion at the end of an 11 month program
Satisfied with the current conditions and haven't considered in much depth.
Competitive pay compared to private firms. Pay for a graduate is very high and excludes things such as travel allowance.
It could be a little bit higher, compared to some other Commonwealth Departments, however the work makes up for this.
Fair for the work expected at the junior to intermediate level. After that not so fair.
What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
Parking is reimbursed while at the client. Moving expenses and 3 weeks rent are paid for when moving to start as a grad.
Can see Parliament House in the next street, they helped me to move from Queensland and I get to visit different places like government house all for work.
Your relocation is paid for, you're given temp accommodation, and if you have to spend out of your own pocket for work, you're reimbursed right away!
Learning and development opportunities / training is absolutely top class.
Flexibility and security
Travel around Australia
Moving expenses and support during the move to Canberra were a huge bonus. In addition, the travel I have undertaken for work has been a great perk.
