How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.

Managers are generally quite accessible, when they're not busy. They enjoy stopping to have a chat if you want to as well. Generally they make good mentors as they've progressed higher up because they're good people leaders.  The performance feedback however, while it exists, doesn't seem to really achieve what it is designed to do. Praise and recognition also doesn't seem to occur as regularly as it could.

Management are pretty busy but my supervisor is very accessible.

There are excellent formal and informal review processes. The managers I've had have all been accessible, and good mentors.

More senior managers are very busy and as a result are not always accessible. Luckily, the graduate program provides exposure to these individuals, but for many other staff they don't have much interaction.

All senior executive are very open to discussion. Intermediate level managers are also very good and happy to share advice

Doors are always open Great at mentoring - both formally and informally (standard managers take an active role in your development, and formal mentoring sessions are set up with both a member of the executive board, and a senior leader) Success is frequently celebrated with morning teas and lunches etc
