2020 Data Professionals - multiple roles

ASIO protects Australia, its people and its interests from serious threats to their security. Technology and information are at the very heart of ASIO's efforts in preventing terrorists, state actors and malicious insiders causing great harm.

Intelligence agencies are undergoing a period of rapid change as both the tempo and complexity of current security threats increase. At the heart of this change is how we use our data. To respond to this challenge, ASIO needs people who know and understand how to use and manage data more than ever before.

You can expect to work in a dynamic and changing environment where your ideas and work will make a difference. Your responsibilities, work and success will depend on how you apply your skills rather than your position in a hierarchy. You will be working with like-minded peers who will guide and assist you but will also listen and learn from your ideas as we work together to develop solutions using our data to solve our intelligence problems.

We want people who have a passion for technology and the ability to solve problems. You will need to be constantly researching, learning and applying new technologies and willing to experiment and give things a go.
