Your role

A Field Specialist (Wellbore Intervention) will provide technical support to Technology, Commercial, and Service Delivery organizations for Fishing Services. You'll support Conventional Fishing, Casing Exit, and Wellbore Cleanup applications. You'll provide technical support throughout the job cycle, from portfolio management and pre-job assessment, through job execution, and post-job analysis.

As a Field Specialist (Wellbore Intervention), you will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing under direct supervision participates in structured, on-the-job learning activities in the Wellbore Intervention Product Group.
  • Running multiple applications of medium risk in one product line in the Wellbore Intervention Product Group.
  • Ensuring supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for the job.
  • Providing front-line support to customers and accurately completing all paperwork prior to or upon completion of the job.
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Technical Diploma or knowledge.
  • Have some experience in Oilfield Services (Fresh graduate or new to Oilfield Services Business is also welcome).
  • Have some knowledge of drilling and completion techniques and drilling/work over rig operations.
  • Have the ability to work well and communicate well with others.
  • Be able to work varied work schedules and be available for a 24-hour call-out as necessary.
  • Be able to work in a role location without a need for company sponsorship on a work visa.
