Working Hours at BDO

How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?

Generally we do not receive time in lieu, however they are quite flexible if you need to leave for appointments etc. Busy season requires a lot more working hours.

I currently work 8:30am – 5pm which suits me well, not currently having any children, but I know that they are very flexible in allowing those to take time off who need it, or to start work later if they have responsibilities.

I work a normal 38 hour week, but if I ever need to finish early/start late BDO is very flexible.

Work is flexible with personal appointments; however, that time must be made up. People are to strive to achieve their budget and therefore the number of hours in the office is likely to increase.

8:45 am - 5:15pm. Most people stay back later (not required at my level) Lunchtime an hour anytime between 12pm-2pm.

We get time in lieu for overtime within Audit, which is extremely rare in the industry and a huge perk.

Reasonably flexible. Opportunity to start and finish early if needed, so long as standard hours are completed

Standard day 8am/8:30am - 5:30pm/6pm.

Company seems fairly flexible, I haven't had to test this yet though. I work generally from about 8:15am to 5:20pm with a half hour to 45 min lunch break

My contractual work hours are 8.30am to 5pm. However, I am choosing to come in earlier and finish after 5pm to further my learning as a graduate. Also, my team actually discourages me from working overtime as the firm is very focused on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
