2022 Graduate Civil Engineer - Perth (Jan 2022)

Cardno is looking to recruit two Graduate Civil Engineers to join our West Perth team. We are recruiting two roles so ideally we are seeking graduates who have either completed their studies in 2020 and are available for full time work immediately, or graduates who are due to complete their studies by the end of 2021 and can be available for full time, permanent work in January 2022.

The role

Cardno is looking to recruit two Graduate Civil Engineers to join our West Perth team.

Our office is in walking distance to Kings Park and Elizabeth Quay, as well as being only a short bus ride to our Central Business District. We are recruiting two roles so ideally we are seeking graduates who have either completed their studies in 2020 and are available for full time work immediately, or graduates who are due to complete their studies by the end of 2021 and can be available for full time, permanent work in January 2022. As a graduate on our established 2 year Asia Pacific Graduate Development Program, you will learn all facets of engineering techniques, relevant software programs, and gain essential business skills to ensure your success in a global consulting environment.

You will be Making a Difference by –

• Participating in the delivery of projects across water infrastructure, transport, urban development and mining, ensuring work output is of a technically high standard
• Completing design calculations and records within time and budget restraints
• Developing practical and commercial solutions to problems
• Undertaking work related training and self-development for career advancement
• Collaborating with project staff and working within a team of technical specialists
• Coordinating, preparing and submitting proposals

About you

To be successful you will display –

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering with completion by either 2020 or 2021
• A passion for civil engineering
• Proven ability to learn and apply new concepts
• The ability to work and collaborate within a team environment through well-developed interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal communication skills to be able to present and articulate ideas to a wide variety of stakeholders
• A positive, initiative driven and proactive attitude
