Build an amazing team of 3 in order to join the challenge.

THE COMPETITION:

The first submission will be due on the 25th of August, where your team will need to submit a 3-minute video proposing your solution to the case. (For instructions on how to submit your video, please see the instructions at the bottom of this email). You will be able to submit your video from the 19th of August (a link will be provided), but we recommend you begin working on your video now.

The 10 best teams will move onto the second stage, where they will need to expand on their idea and present it in greater detail using a maximum of 5 slides (more information will be provided to those teams that make it this far). All 10 teams will be given a CUB mentor during this stage.

Finally, the best 3 of the 10 teams will do a 10-minute presentation (+10 minutes of Q&A) in front of our business leaders at CUB’s offices in Melbourne, with each of the winning team's members being offered an internship in the summer of 2019/2020.

THE CHALLENGE

Your team will be challenged with Designing the future of sustainable drinking in Australia. When proposing your idea, we encourage you to think about the total end to end consumer journey – not just the product itself. For example, you may consider what of the following CUB could influence to design a future of sustainable drinking:

  • Upstream with our suppliers
  • In our route-to-market
  • Down-stream with our On & Off Premise Customers
  • With our consumers in their key drinking occasions (E.g. Social drinks with friends, relaxing at home, partying, meals etc.)

NB: You don’t need to be limited by the above examples, they are just a few of the many areas you could explore when researching your idea. The more original the idea, the more successful you will be.
