Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
We have the AMBER League, which focuses on improving the presence and leadership of women in CUB, and the industry as a whole. The AMBER league fosters an inclusive environment for men who want to learn more as well. We also have the LAGER network (Lesbian & Gay, Everyone Respected), which is promoting understanding, inclusivity and progression within the business.

CUB is currently working to improve diversity in regards to women, ages etc. in the supply world but it does take time to see this change in the numbers as brewing was previously a white male dominated industry. CUB has done great things in regards to LGBTI this year, including a huge involvement in the Mardi Gras.

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
I am not sure, but something they do honourably is that their internships are paid. I think unpaid internships is another form of exclusion of those from less fortunate backgrounds.
