Management at Clifford Chance

6.9
6.9 rating for Management, based on 8 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Managers generally are strong lawyers but poor management skills, and often fail to give performance feedback or communicate with the team. Depends on the team, within finance there is better feedback and praise / recognition of work done but still room for improvement.

The communication from the overall management of the firm is standard. When it comes to formal performance feedback, it is a little bit relaxed and we haven't received anything formal yet. However, informal feedback is easily accessible and we get good amount of praise and constructive feedback during day to day work.

This depends on the individual person. Everyone is generally nice and will answer any questions you may have but if there are specific areas which you are not getting from a particular supervisor, there are always other people to learn from.
