DO WORK THAT MATTERS

We're looking for people to join Enterprise Services in our Engineering, Technology and Group Operations Teams.

Engineering

Within Enterprise Services, we support endless innovation. We're big thinkers, problem solvers, challenge seekers, customer champions and genuine innovators. That's how we describe ourselves because what we do has impact. More than seven million customers access our digital platforms every day.
We're the engine room behind Australia's leading online bank – a title we've held for ten years running. We've been designing the future of banking for more than two decades and we're not stopping anytime soon.
Our scale means unparalleled opportunity to create change and positively impact customers. We gather 150 billion data points from over 600 million interactions across digital, the retail network and contact centres.
Whether you're designing the apps people hold in their hands or the systems they're delivered through, you're determining how more than 17 million customers access their money. Your work matters.

Technology

Technology is responsible for world-leading application of technology and operations across every single aspect of CommBank – from innovative product platforms for our customers, to essential tools within our business.
We're one of the largest IT shops in Australia and recognised as an industry leader in technology thanks to our world-class platforms, agile IT infrastructure and innovation in everything from customer payments to our award-winning online and mobile assets.
We're responsible for the scale and simplification of technology across every aspect of CommBank to meet the evolving needs of our customers. We develop applications that leverage real-time capabilities, and we're always thinking about new and better ways for our customers to interact with us.
Whatever you're working on, you'll be empowered to spark change, transform an industry and deliver what really matters. We're passionate about what we can do with a truly diverse team.

Group Operations

Group Operations is the strategic centre of the Group. We aim to make life simpler and safer for our customers, thereby enabling our businesses to improve the financial wellbeing of our customers and communities.
We're commercial and people-focused, ensuring change is sustainable, successful and rapid. We deliver the products and services of the Bank to our customers and ensure our processes operate in line with operational risk best practice.
We are part of Enterprise Services (Technology & Operations) who are responsible for world-leading applications of technology and operations across every single aspect of CommBank – from innovative product platforms for our customers, to essential tools within our business.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU

We're committed to building world-class engineering, technology and operations capabilities. You will contribute to innovations within industry-leading teams while you're supported to navigate and invigorate your career.

You will do real work that will allow you to put your passion into practice and develop your technical knowledge, while making a real difference in the financial wellbeing of our customers and communities.

WE INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE

The program commences in late November 2021, where you'll join as a full-time employee over the summer. Here you'll get a taste of what it's like working at CommBank through formal learning events and workplace-based experiential learning, to help you decide if we're the right fit for you.

It centres around 4 key elements:

  • Shine: Contribute from day one by working on real projects that impact our business and our customers, within Australia's largest bank.
  • Develop: Participate in market-leading training to develop your technical and soft skills. This will help with the transition to full-time work from university and ensure you excel in your immediate and future roles.
  • Network: Build networks and friendships through unparalleled access to senior leaders, project leads and program sponsors, enhancing your personal and business profile.
  • Contribute: Give back to the community through graduate initiatives, driving positive change across our organisation and improving the wellbeing of our intern cohort.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
