As the strategic centre of the Group, we deliver the products and services of the Bank to our customers and ensure our processes operate in line with operational risk best practice. We aim to make life simpler and safer for our customers, thereby enabling our businesses to improve the financial wellbeing of our customers and communities. We're commercial and people-focused, ensuring change is sustainable, successful and rapid.

We are part of Enterprise Services (Technology & Operations) who are responsible for world-leading applications of technology and operations across every single aspect of CommBank – from innovative product platforms for our customers, to essential tools within our business.

Whatever you're working on, you'll be empowered to spark change, transform an industry and deliver what really matters. We're passionate about what we can do with a truly diverse team.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU

We are building operational leaders of the future. We welcome anyone with an interest or experience in Operations, including frontline retail. A passion for an interest in technology is encouraged but not required.
You'll work within supportive teams and develop your skills while you contribute to our technology and operations innovations. You'll be encouraged to pursue your interests in operations across areas such as Performance & Strategy, Financial Crimes, Commercial Operations, Market Operations – to name a few

WE INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE

When you join our Graduate Program, you join as a full-time permanent employee. So you know we're invested in you to transition from full-time study to full-time life!

Your development centres around 4 key elements:

Shine: Contribute from day one by working on real projects that impact our business and our customers, within Australia's largest bank.

Develop: Participate in market-leading training to develop your technical and soft skills. This will help with the transition to full-time work from university and ensure you excel in your immediate and future roles.

Network: Build networks and friendships through unparalleled access to senior leaders, project leads and program sponsors, enhancing your personal and business profile.

Contribute: Give back to the community through graduate initiatives, driving positive change across our organisation and improving the wellbeing of our graduate cohort.

Our 18 month head office program includes three structured rotations through key operational areas, to build diverse capabilities and fast-track you to roles in leadership or support your career as an SME (subject matter expert) in a chosen area.

You'll gain access to world-class development resources to help you expand your skills. We are future focused with a high performance culture so continually building our people capability is integral to what we do. We have an inclusive culture where we want you to bring your best self to work and sharing ideas is encouraged amongst our community of talented and diverse people.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

You are an Australian/New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident at the time of your application (essential);

In your final year of your university degree or have graduated within the last 12 months (essential); and

Achieving at least a credit average across your university degree (essential).

At CommBank, we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce reflecting the customers, businesses and communities we serve. With service in mind at every touch point, we take accountability for the role we play in securing and enhancing the financial wellbeing of people, businesses and communities. At CommBank you can be you.

This role will require relocation to be close to our Sydney offices. However, at CBA we provide flexible working which may include working remotely. Further details can be requested from our friendly team.
