We move at pace and push the boundaries to deliver industry-leading solutions. The size and scale of our business means that with us, you'll work on real-life problems and develop solutions that will positively impact millions of customers.

We're one of the largest IT shops in Australia and recognised as an industry leader in technology thanks to our world-class platforms, agile IT infrastructure and innovation in everything from customer payments to our award-winning online and mobile assets.

We're responsible for the scale and simplification of technology across every aspect of CommBank to meet the evolving needs of our customers. We develop applications that leverage real-time capabilities, and we're always thinking about new and better ways for our customers to interact with us.
Whatever you're working on, you'll be empowered to spark change, transform an industry and deliver what really matters. We're passionate about what we can do with a truly diverse team.

We are looking for people to be part of high performing teams in one of the largest and most forward thinking technology houses in Australia. You will contribute to our technology and operations innovations within industry-leading teams while you're supported and empowered to navigate and invigorate your career.

You will do real work that will allow you to put your passion into practice and develop your technical knowledge, while making a real difference in the financial wellbeing of our customers and communities.

When you join our Graduate Program, you join as a full-time permanent employee. So you know we're invested in you to transition from full-time study to full-time life!

Your development centres around 4 key elements:

Shine: Contribute from day one by working on real projects that impact our business and our customers, within Australia's largest bank.

Develop: Participate in market-leading training to develop your technical and soft skills. This will help with the transition to full-time work from university and ensure you excel in your immediate and future roles.

Network: Build networks and friendships through unparalleled access to senior leaders, project leads and program sponsors, enhancing your personal and business profile.

Contribute: Give back to the community through graduate initiatives, driving positive change across our organisation and improving the wellbeing of our graduate cohort.

Our 18 month program, offers a tailored experience with two 9 month rotations. In this stream, you'll do your first placement in one of our Technology teams. You could work with our award-winning Emerging Technology teams, support Agile ways of working in the business or support strategy change and transformation, to name a few. You can continue on that path or be supported to 'try something on for size' in our Engineering or Cyber teams. Through these rotations, you'll gain an in-depth understanding of one of the largest and most complex technology environments in Australia, have continuous learning opportunities and be able to develop both your technical knowledge and commercial acumen.

You'll gain access to world-class technical and development resources to help you expand your skills. We are future focused with a high performance culture so continually building our people capability is integral to what we do. We have an inclusive culture where we want you to bring your best self to work and sharing ideas is encouraged amongst our community of talented and diverse people.

You are an Australian/New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident at the time of your application (essential);

In your final year of your university degree or have graduated within the last 12 months (essential); and

Achieving at least a credit average across your university degree (essential).

At CommBank, we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce reflecting the customers, businesses and communities we serve. As a values driven organisation, we nurture and support our people; through focussing on skill and talent development, collaboration, flexibility and internal promotion. With service in mind at every touch point, we take accountability for the role we play in securing and enhancing the financial wellbeing of people, businesses and communities. At CommBank you can be you.

This role will require relocation to be closer to our Sydney offices. However, at CBA we provide flexible working which may include working remotely. Further details can be requested from our friendly team.
