Regional and Agribusiness Banking provides a comprehensive range of financial services to over 30,000 clients, located in regional and rural Australia. We develop strong relationships with our clients to get a real understanding of their business financial needs, and then implement the best strategies for each clients' unique situation. As a Summer Intern, you will have the scope to create relationships with Australian businesses by attending joint visitations across our diverse client base across your chosen location. You will interact directly with our clients through face to face meetings, working alongside them in their businesses to understand and meet their ever changing needs.

Our 10-week program starting on 25th November 2019, gives you a taste of what it's like to work with Australia's best bank. You'll have the opportunity to do real work that will allow you to put your passion and transferrable skills you've gained from your studies into practice, whilst contributing to outcomes which positively impact our business and customers. During the program, you'll be given full support and training to help you decide if CommBank is the right fit for you.

WE'RE INTERESTED IN HEARING FROM YOU IF YOU ARE:

  • An innovative and analytical thinker;
  • Adaptable and agile in nature – no one day is the same in our summer intern program;
  • Digitally and technology savvy – we want you to leverage and champion our market leading technology platforms;
  • An Australian/New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident at the time of your application (essential);
  • Are in your penultimate (second last year) of your university degree, or if you are doing a double degree, you must be in your penultimate year of your overall studies (essential)
  • Achieving at least a credit average across your university degree (essential).
