What degree did you study?

Bachelor of Business Information Systems at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).

What initially attracted you to Daimler Truck and Bus?

I was interested in working for a global company and Daimler offers a variety of opportunities to engage with people from different levels of experience and backgrounds. I’ve been fortunate enough to have travelled across Asia Pacific to work with team members in Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand

What has been your career journey with Daimler Truck and Bus?

I joined as a Business Analyst IBL in 2016 – during my final year of study. Upon completion of my degree I was offered a permanent role as a Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst.

What’s the best thing about working here?

The people. It’s great working with like-minded, intelligent and passionate people of different backgrounds and levels on such a variety of projects. Our team cover such a broad range of areas across the business – from new brand dashboards to data quality projects and implementing new digital solutions across our vehicle processing centre.

In my experience, Daimler Truck and Bus have a genuine desire to professionally develop individuals. I am continuously learning and developing myself professionally as well as personally.

What advice would you give to someone thinking about joining Daimler Truck and Bus?

Just go for it, embrace it with an open mind and you’ll learn so much. There are a lot of opportunities here if you’ve got the right attitude, work ethic and drive.
