How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
The standard work day is 7.5 hours, and there is a lot of flexibility to arrange it. For example, I work later hours (9:30-5:30 or 10:00-6:00) depending on the office as this suits my lifestyle and the hours when I am most productive (between 4-6pm!).

I work standard 9am to 5pm. I work one day a week from home and this was very easy to set up with my employer. Employer utilises Flex hours

Very flexible. There are opportunities to negotiate working hours, working from home, etc. so that all lifestyles can be accommodated.

Relatively flexible! Can be easy to shift around your schedule depending on your role and supervisor

Decently - but we're understaffed so sometimes it feels like you gotta work

Hours are quite flexible, but there can be significant and unnecessary hoops to jump through if you want more permanent flexibility. E.g. if I have a runny nose and want to work from home, I can organise that on the day with nothing more than a phonecall. But, if I want to work every Friday from home, then that's much more difficult to arrange.

Generally standard public service hours (8:30-5 or so), workflow changes through the year.

Very Flexible, I am not a morning person/pre-existing conditions and therefore I start a little later than most.

My office is very flexible when it comes to flexible working arrangements.
Midlevel, Canberra
Very flexible with hours for starting late/finishing early or needing to duck out for an appointment. They allow me to work remotely from Brisbane so I can care for my family.
Midlevel, Canberra
Extremely flexible. I can determine starting and ending hours with my supervisor and easily make arrangements to work from home or take time off for medical or other reasons.
