We have a range of formal training programs which teach us the Diageo principles, a few times per year
We do a lot of sales training and capability and this is quite consistent throughout the year. There are also programmes like the "Key Account Management" course, which is a year-long programme and develops your skills in selling, hosting meetings and negotiating. There are also online learning modules on our internal learning platform that teach things like retail maths or supply chain logistics. Within the graduate programme, there are lots of global online learning modules and web seminars.
Systems training and exposure are really good support for external qualifications. There�s emphasis on developing both soft and hard skills through mentoring and growth plans.
