Empired Ltd Graduate Programs & Internships

  • Technology

Empired provides information technology solutions across Australia, New Zealand and North America. Our staff work with organisations to improve productivity, empower staff, streamline and automate business processes, and deliver operational efficiencies for businesses in all industries. We work with organisations that typically employ upwards of 250 people and engage us to provide thought leadership around technology-based business solutions. We pride ourselves on employing professionals who not only have the technical depth but also the ability to truly understand the objectives of our customers and work with them to create relevant technology solutions.

Empired specialises in the design, development, and integration of business knowledge, information technology and creativity. So, what does that mean for you?

You could be doing this as a consultant getting involved right at the start to work out exactly what the customer needs, a developer getting stuck in with the creation and the detail, or as an infrastructure engineer guiding our clients through their exciting new solutions.

You might be working with our clients and taking them on a journey with various technologies across the whole Microsoft technology stack from general .Net development through to particular products like Dynamics 365 or SharePoint and more!

You'll engage in continuous learning which will provide you the ability to build a career in IT and collaborate with our highly skilled technology teams, as we forge the future for our diverse customer base. Your success will be seen through the delivery of design, development and integration of innovative technology solutions.

If you are successful on to the graduate programme you will spend the first week at Graduate Camp. This is a week filled with a range of fun activities, challenges and games. It's designed to help you get familiar with our values, our leaders and form relationships with your peers.

What Graduates Say About Them
  • Get to try out vastly different projects fairly regularly. Won't get stuck on one language/tech stack.
  • The breadth of tasks that I am exposed to and able to have a say in what I complete. I'm able to partake in activities that I enjoy with a diverse and friendly team. I'm able to form personal and professional relationships easily within my team and Empired.
  • Flexible working arrangements, great and friendly staff, great team dynamic.
  • Get to work on a variety of different projects at different clients. I think its a very good way to quickly understand the industry and in tern figure out what you value at the work place versus just working at one company for a few years.
  • As a Grad, it's hard to be trusted to work autonomously, however Empired have trusted and encouraged me to get client facing fast and independently. On top of having faith in my capabilities and offering the opportunity to prove myself, the working environment has been flexible and allowed me to maintain a great work life balance.
  • We are dependent on the projects available in our space, so we are placed in different roles instead (i.e. support roles instead of project roles). This time frame is for an extended period of time.
  • Short projects. More work than people. Understaffed projects.
  • Often the teams you work with change quite dramatically, would be nicer if there was some consistency to some team members where possible.
  • Not everyone will be a fan of hot-desking, whilst it isn't a negative for myself, but some may not enjoy it as much.
