As an Assurance or Tax cadet, you'll combine full-time work with part-time university studies. It takes drive and commitment, but we'll provide you with the support you need to succeed. You'll gain valuable experience working with clients and will be exposed to senior managers early so that you can learn from some of the best.

You'll benefit from the training and skills development we provide. And when you do graduate from university, the professional experience you'll have gained through the cadet program will place you head and shoulders above your peers.

What degree, which service line?
We're looking for:

  • Students studying a diverse range of degrees and majoring in accounting for Assurance, external audit. Audit

We're looking for cadets in Private Client Services and Quantitative Services, part of the Tax division and also in Employment Tax and Global Mobility Tax of the People Advisory Services division:

  • If you're studying accounting, business, commerce, economics, finance or law you're encouraged to apply to Tax - Private Client Services
  • If you're studying data analytics, computer science, actuarial, mathematics, science, engineering or economics, you're encourage to apply to Tax – Quantitative Services
  • If you're studying business, commerce, economics, accounting or law you're encouraged to apply for Employment Tax and Global Mobility Tax of the People Advisory Services division.

Eligibility
To apply for our Cadet Program, you are required to be:

  • A university student with a maximum of two years left of your degree from your commencement date in end of 2018 for Assurance and early 2019 for Tax
  • Available to commence 2 years of full-time work in end of 2018 for Assurance and early 2019 for Tax and complete your degree at university part-time.
  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident.
