Culture at EY Port Jackson Partners

9.1
9.1 rating for Culture, based on 7 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
There is a very strong collegiate culture among the consulting staff. We play social sport together and many people are friends outside of work (e.g. weekend trips away together). Hours of work can vary. Depending on project requirements, hours can be long sometimes - though usually this will be recognised with time-in-lieu at project completion.

PJP has a fantastic culture where we are encouraged to invest in our relationships with each other. The firm is extremely non-hierarchical, and I relate to Directors in the same way as I do Business Analysts and our in-house team. Everyone is extremely intelligent, friendly and intellectually curious, so it is never difficult to find someone to ask for advice or just a second opinion on a problem. We also spend a lot of time together both at work and outside - we have a range of organised social activities, and many of us hang out socially as friends too

The low-leverage model and collegial culture means that we have great exposure to partners and it is a relatively flat structure. Everyone is very motivated and always open to helping others. There are good social events every month for everyone to get together outside of work and seasonal sports competition we all participate in.
