About Ernst & Young

EY is one of the largest professional services networks in the world. It is considered one of the Big Four accounting firms. It primarily provides assurance (which includes financial audit), tax, consulting, and advisory services to its clients. Like many of the larger accounting firms in recent years, EY has expanded into markets adjacent to accounting, including strategy, operations, HR, technology, and financial services consulting.

Your Role

  • Responsible for supporting the Assurance engagements in Service Delivery Center.
  • You will support the financial services clients dedicated to wealth and asset management, banking and capital markets, and insurance firms. You will play a key role in defining how hedge fund and mutual fund advisors meet regulatory, tax, and financial statement reporting requirements.
  • You’ll participate in project teams of all sizes, assessing or collecting customer information or reviewing transactions to identify unusual or potentially suspicious activity.
  • You’ll support the Credit Risk practice, which provides services to credit risk management functions, primarily performing credit reviews for commercial and consumer credit exposures within the financial services industry.

Training & Development

At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a truly exceptional experience. They will empower you with the latest technology, surround you with high-performing teams, and provide the global scale and diverse and inclusive culture you need to discover your full potential. Through its coaching and training programs, you’ll develop the skillsets you need to stay relevant today and, in the future, – all while building a network of colleagues, mentors, and leaders who will be on the journey with you at EY and beyond.

Salary & Benefits

This role's estimated pay ranges from $62,000 to $95,000 per year. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements depending on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

  • Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • In the Flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
  • You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.

Career Progression

The broad business perspective you get in EY’s Assurance practice will serve as a launch pad to your career, whether you stay at EY to partner or seek a role in the C-suite. The easy-to-use Audit Career Framework will help you map your successful career path, understand just what’s expected of you, and access the right learning, experiences, and coaching to support your career progression. Along the way, you’ll develop a deep understanding of the inner workings of business and draw on your accounting knowledge to help solve complex challenges.

Work-Life Balance

EY understands life’s challenges and complexities. They know everyone juggles a career with priorities outside of work, and COVID-19 has made this even more of a challenge for many. That’s why EY supports its people to work, connect and collaborate more efficiently and flexibly. Whether your colleagues are on a different floor, on a different continent, or completely virtual, EY helps you get your work done responsibly and flexibly while managing your busy life.
