The Opportunity  

We are seeking an enterprise-ready Graduate Software Developer to join our Digital environment – The group's core task is to identify and deliver cutting edge architecture and initiatives that are not only robust, but your customers love! Whether it be contributing towards blue-sky prototypes, building new features, utilising a new stack or simply helping push the boundaries; we would genuinely like to hear from you.

It is no secret that the Digital team is the envy of the business.  Outside of crunching lines of code, you will find out dev team celebrating successful deployments, toppling giants in esports tournaments, getting creative in dungeons and dragons game nights or immersed in robust discussion regarding the future of Technology and its role in society.

What you will gain: 

• Help develop and implement complex web applications
• Ensure the continual improvement of quality through maintenance of unit tests and other testing
• Help deliver product deployments, participating in run sheet preparations and execution
• Participate in the team development cycle via sprint planning, execution, retrospectives and backlog grooming etc.
• Help to determine product development direction by providing technical and non-technical feedback on the product backlog
• Ensure development follows systems and solutions architectures in support of the product roadmap and company vision
• Collaborate to create supporting documentation around software solutions
• Contribute to the evolving company best practice approaches to software development
• Assist in providing collateral to support project meetings and stakeholder updates

About you 

We're searching for passionate people who are driven to accelerate their career. To be eligible for our graduate program you will be: 

• In your final year of a Software Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar degree or have recently completed your degree (within 12 months at the time of application) 
• Able to commence full-time work in February 2022
• Collaborative and thrive in a team-based environment
• Strategically focused and possess strong business acumen 
• Dedicated to providing innovative solutions with a forward-facing mindset 
• Able to adapt your communication style to fit a wide range of situations
