I’m Clarice Sam-Yue and I’m a Designer-Developer graduate on the Consulting by Degrees program at IBM. I studied Digital Media and Computer Science at UNSW.
I used to be an elite gymnast, training from 4-19 years old. After, I fell into Mixed Martial Arts. I found it surprisingly similar to gymnastics and loved it. I’ve competed at a national level, trained in Canberra at the Australian Institute of Sport and travelled internationally to train. Martial Arts taught me that sometimes I’ll win and sometimes I’ll learn.
I’ve slowed down since sustaining a few injuries but I’m always looking for a good physical challenge and generally love to play. Last month I completed the Oxfam Trailwalker – a 100km hike challenge to raise money for Oxfam. I consider myself a big of a Jack-of-All-Trades as I also love rock climbing, snorkelling and hiking and recently picked up skateboarding.
