Job description:

CS also helps to make Intel and its community a greener place by supporting Intel's commitment to environmental sustainability, including investing in conservation projects, setting company-wide environmental targets, and driving reductions in greenhouse emissions, energy use, water use, and waste generation. They are seeking an undergraduate intern to support Intel’s employee volunteer and community outreach programs in Arizona.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support Intel's employee volunteer and community outreach programs in Arizona.
  • Support the Arizona Community Relations team with project management, communications, and overall program support.
  • Interaction with various Intel business groups, community organizations, and schools in support of Intel's employee volunteer program, neighbor relations, and community events.
  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders to protect and advance Intel's reputation in their site communities, enabling their license to operate and positioning them for growth.

Note: This is a part-time internship (averaging 20 hours per week) desired for 3+ months with the opportunity to extend based on business need. Candidates may be needed for occasional weekend or evening event support.

About you

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum qualifications:

  • The candidate must be pursuing a BS or BA in Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field of study.
  • 3+months experience in Database entry and Event planning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Volunteering in the community.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
