Your role

About the team:

As a Liquid Industrial Water System (LIWS) technician, you will be interacting with engineering as well as other operation technicians maintaining ultra-pure water systems.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Operating and maintaining LIWS systems that support their operations facilities.
  • Performing routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures.
  • Utilizing quality systems and diagnosing process issues related to Occlusion, Adsorption, and Reduction of impurities in Industrial Waste systems.
  • Maintaining Analytical equipment (Preventative Excursion Management Systems) and Chemical precipitation of Industrial Waste systems.
  • Utilizing Maximo Maintenance planning software.
  • Interacting with the factory and other customers and stakeholders.
  • Role modeling safety and be involved in Emergency Response Team (ERT)Treatability studies of different chemical constituents feeding Industrial Waste systems.

About you

You must possess the below minimum qualifications (Undergraduate) to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences, and or schoolwork/classes/research. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum qualifications:

  • The candidate must be pursuing an Associate of Art or Associate of Science degree in Water Technology, HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Gas Fitting, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Facilities Maintenance Technology, Renewable Energy Technology, Water and Environmental Technology, Fire Protection Technology, Industrial Process Operator, Engineering, or related technical or STEM field.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work a compressed workweek schedule.

Note: This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where they experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or Ph.D. degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with three years’ related  job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor’s degree and less than three years’ experience.
