About the Opportunity: Undergraduate Structural Engineer (Bridges & Maritime)
 

Jacobs plays a key role in the development and renewal of Australia’s Transport Infrastructure network with specialist engineering design and delivery teams in all capital cities and a number of regional centres. Jacobs capability extends to Roads & Highways, Bridges, Tunnelling, Rail, Aviation, Maritime & Ports, Geotechnical Engineering, Traffic & Transport Planning including ITS, Economic Modelling & Studies and Project Management.

Within these transport sectors we offer the full range of integrated services providing Government and private sector clients both in Australia and across the Asia Pacific the most sustainable, environmentally and economically viable solutions to deliver successful outcomes that meet current and projected future demands.

  • West Gate Tunnel project,
  • Victorian Rail Infrastructure Program,
  • Melbourne Airport expansion

About you

The successful candidate will:

  • Complete your degree in 2019 (Civil, Structural Engineering)
  • Be technically inquisitive
  • Possess strong leadership skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and in a team to learn from another perspective
  • Communicate exceptionally well
  • Ask questions and challenge the norm
  • Be able to commence on 19 November 2018 and work through to March 2019 
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
