Salary at Lendlease

What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?

Staff are rewarded with above market wages.
Midlevel, Sydney
The company pays better than other companies for someone of my level. Bonuses are paid based on performance.
Midlevel, Sydney
P4P is a great and constructive way to determine pay rises
Graduate, Sydney
Transparency around bonus is questionable. Bonuses are calculated per year and filtered by business performance then individual performance. Graduate pay was satisfactory but ADM level pay is at the low end of industry standard.
Midlevel, Sydney
Lendlease have not given bonuses since I started. Promotions for graduates are few and far between. Lendlease want to keep grads on a cheap labour as long as possible.
Graduate, Sydney
Average pay. Not a great deal of info regarding bonuses.
Graduate, Brisbane
The bonus policy is very clear and relates very clearly to goals set during the period.
Graduate, Sydney
Pay is brilliant and more than I would have ever thought to receive on my first year out of Uni. Have not yet experienced a bonus.
Graduate, Sydney
The salary offered was higher than other offers I received which was good. However I have worked on one project which involved 12 hour days, and this is paid the same as 8 hours. As a graduate I am not entitled to any bonuses in my first 2 years.
Graduate, Newcastle
Bonuses are handed out everywhere and are based on performance. The payment for a engineering graduate is average, but far exceeds other companies if you have a different background (HR, Finance, Property etc.)
Graduate, Sydney
I am very happy with my graduate salary. As I have only been with the company less than a year, I have not received a bonus
Graduate, Adelaide
Above average.
Graduate, Perth
Very good
Graduate, Brisbane
The pay is about mid-range, however there is possibility of raises and bonuses. As I have not received either yet I will not comment.
Graduate, Brisbane
Pay is on the higher end for a graduate.
Graduate, Brisbane
Can't comment on bonuses just yet, but salary is competitive for the role
Graduate, Sydney
A must to differentiate those who are going above and beyond and those who do not.
Graduate, Melbourne
Very good starting rate with 'pay for performance' bonus in your first year. Rate increases are ok. Grad pay rises are standard across the business
Graduate, Melbourne
It's industry standard so I can't complain
Graduate, Sydney
The graduate pay is around market value. Bonuses and pay rises are poor until you get promoted to need level Eg. SE to PE.
Midlevel, Sydney
Very reasonable. They are sitting at pretty much average to comparable companies from what I know but it's above the minimum and they are generous with annual bonuses if you're doing good work.
Graduate, Sydney
I'm paid a lot more than I would accept elsewhere.
Graduate, Melbourne
Seems fair, but not overly generous considering hours worked, don’t know about bonuses
Graduate, Sydney
Bonus are quite subjective, and not necessarily in line with your commitment. (Lendlease bonus system is a pool of points allocated by your line manager). The more points the more bonus you receive, but this is also factored against the business performance and market performance. Generally the line manager will allocate points on the basis of employees they cannot afford to lose, rather than by those who have given the largest effort or performed the strongest.
Midlevel, Sydney
Bonuses and pay rises occur quite regularly.
Graduate, Sydney
Pay is great for a grad. Compares well against other tier 1s. Probably not as much as I'd like for the hours we do.
Graduate, Melbourne
The pay is high for a graduate position and made the company very attractive.
Graduate, Newcastle
Seems like a fair process to me. Bonuses are based on whether you have earned them over the previous year, and your pay is determined by your experience and qualifications.
Graduate, Sydney
Pay rate too low given number of hours worked. Contracted to work 38hr week and remuneration is based on that. However working a 60-65hr week results in a very low pay rate with no additional pay offered or leave. Would be better if banked hours were accrued which add to your leave bank or payed out. Currently, no bonuses offered for graduates.
Graduate, Port Macquarie
It's a pretty clear system for workers at my level - the graduate program has everyone's salary set the same (and it's about the national average for engineering grads).
Graduate, Sydney
The pay is okay, I think that it should be a bit higher given the hours expected to be worked. I don't know about bonus as I have not been here for long enough to have received any yet
Graduate, Melbourne
Great entry level salary compared to other companies in the industry. Guaranteed pay rises over the next 2 years.
Graduate, Sydney
