What’s your job about?

I began work for McConnell Dowell at the start of 2018. In my time at McConnell Dowell I’ve worked as a Graduate Site Engineer where I have assisted in quality assurance, the supervision and inspection of contractor works, and progress reporting.

What are the challenges of your job?

Working to deadlines and resolving issues, which have the potential to cause delays, has been a challenging aspect of the job at this stage. Nevertheless, overcoming these challenges has been rewarding, especially seeing tangible results from the hard work invested.

Why did you choose to work for McConnell Dowell?

I chose to work at McConnell Dowell because of the range of exciting opportunities available and, particularly the array of largescale projects currently underway and on the horizon. I particularly admire the commitment of this company to developing their staff. Furthermore, the McConnell Dowell graduate program provides opportunities to gain exposure to work in a variety of business components. I look forward to learning as much as I can from my colleagues and from the various projects I will experience
