What you'll do

As well as completing the industrial training component of your degree, you will be working on real projects with real responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to develop to your full potential and beyond, alongside owners of the business whilst experiencing the variety and diversity of consulting engineering, alongside owners of our business.

Through this experience you will learn to do the following:

  • Design of Fire and Hydraulics services within the Built Environment: Hospitals, Education Facilities, Sporting Facilities, Commercial Mixed Use Developments.
  • Design of wet fire systems, hot and cold water supply, drainage, wastewater and sewer systems within a building.
  • Carry out site investigations and feasibility studies.
  • Assist in design documentation of hydraulic services.
  • Work on multi-disciplinary design projects liaising with Civil, Sustainability and Building Services teams.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders including architects, developers, commercial builders and local/state government bodies.

Who can apply?

To be eligible to apply, you must be in your penultimate or final year of study. 

The program starts from November 2024 onwards, and you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or New Zealand Citizen.
