How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
My mentor is very accessible and always makes himself available to answer any of my queries/concerns

There is a lot of transparency about where the firm is heading, what they want from you and your individual targets.

Generally very satisfied. I would have liked more immediate get to know you by my supervising partner, but I've actually preferred having the 2 week catchups because it's a good touching base. Also I am working closely with my supervising partner on a matter. Praise and recognition is not obvious to me, but I would appreciate knowing that I'm doing a job fitting in culturally within the broader team

Partners tend to vary wildly in terms of approach. There are some excellent partners in terms of management in this firm, but there are also many who seem to view the management part of their role as merely optional, meaning experiences between rotations and teams can be incredibly varied.

We meet as a whole team every morning to discuss our workload. Its great being able to connect each day as a team, and indicate whether you have capacity so the team can give you work. We have scheduled feedback sessions throughout our graduate program.

I feel that management depends on the team. Some of the teams I have worked for had great partners who were really in touch with the work being done and gave great feedback, while others were not as dedicated. I would say, on balance, that partner engagement is a prominent issue.

My partner is really welcoming and always keen to chat about work and non-work items. The other senior lawyers are excellent at providing me with interesting work and are just great people.

Management is good. There is a formal performance review 2 times per rotation but a constant feedback loop exists between you and the people you get work from.
