Salary at Norton Rose Fulbright

There needs to be more transparency around pay. The pay is very good though - more than other competitor firms, and very good considering it is our first job straight out of university. We are not eligible for bonuses as part of the grad program.

Like anyone, I'd gladly be paid more but it is very comfortable for a first year salary.

Highly competitive pay

The firm has been very transparent about graduates being on a two-year lock step program with fixed remuneration. I think our remuneration is set at a good level relative to other similarly sized firms.

No bonuses until 2 year Associate. Pay is comparatively good for law firms. Law firms are comparatively bad compared to non-law corporate

I would love more clarity on bonuses and the kinds of pay increases that are standard when moving from position to position.

I am satisfied with how much I earn. I have not been formally told about how bonuses work at the company

International graduate secondment, taxis, food allowance etc

Dinners/taxis when you stay back after 7:30pm. Plenty of social events.

Whenever clients offer bonuses these are shard amongst the firm (e.g. tickets to the ballet etc.) If we stay over time we are entitled to cabs and ordering food deliveries.

Subsidised cafe on site

Free snacks, food and drinks in catering kitchen.

Late night dinner (after 7:30pm up to $30) and later night taxi home (after 7:30pm). Free taxi home after Christmas Party

The perks are limited for a law firm: there are taxis after 7:30 and food vouchers

Our firm has monthly Friday night drinks, while our team has drinks on an almost weekly basis
