Every day is different and I am responsible for delivering solutions
Producing Excel summaries of key plant metrics; RCA; developing maintenance strategies
It varies daily. I travel out to different sites when needed to work on new blast designs or to consult with the sites. New projects come up on a regular basis so it's quite flexible. I work on numerous reports and exciting projects so it's never boring.
Lots of responsibility, direction and guidance.
Attending breakdowns, failure analysis, plant modifications, more admin then engineering and lots of office politics.
Graduate, NSW, QLD
My role is within a research and development team. My work includes participating in trials of new product formulations. This includes laboratory work, data analysis and writing up technical reports.
This varies vastly depending on your role. In one role I was responsible for designing and implementing plant upgrades, in another I was organising pilot scale trials for new explosive products and analysing results. Lately my role involves feeding market intelligence data into stagey models.
Learning lots, interesting work
