There is a mix of formal and informal training offered. My experience has been that there is no substitute for on-the-job-experience.
The training programmes themselves could do with some improvement, however they are getting better very quickly. Most of the training comes from learning on the job, as every engagement leads to new problems to solve!
Trainers are normally knowledgeable and the content is good. Occasionally there is a tendency to rely on a simple PowerPoint pack as being "Training". Have noticed improvement on this front recently
There is room to improve formal training. Role involves a large focus on analysis and presentation building however formal training for these areas is poor. Formal training for other skill required for job is more rigorous and due to the intimate relationship with more senior people while on projects, informal training is good
