The best thing about working at PEXA is how focused they are on learning and development; they’ve shaped my graduate journey around what I’m interested in.

Being part of a team that is essential to the business is always a nice feeling, but also an added pressure to get it right. However, with this comes the collaborative nature and interacting with different teams on the regular, which is something I find interesting.

Having the trust and support of PEXA to work on exciting projects is something I truly value, as I know this is not something that all graduate programs offer.

Our company provides every employee 1000 dollars for Learning and Development. I can use the money to buy online courses and books, or even use it on AWS certificate exams.

I can work with the latest technologies and keep upskilling myself. I also enjoy those “Yass” moments whenever I find a solution to a problem or when my code is running.

The best thing about my job is creating momentum and motivation within a team. Setting goals as a team and working towards them and then improving every sprint is very rewarding.

When everything comes together perfectly (every now and then), the sense of accomplishment and achievement is something that I love the most.

Early on, start looking into internships and graduate programs. The more you’re able to get involved in these things, the better.

Every project I’ve been involved in helped me learn a new skill, alongside using problem solving techniques to determine the best tools/processes/framework to complete my tasks.

This program has really helped in allowing me to try many different things to find the skills that I enjoy and can utilise anywhere.

I love all the new technologies I can use. Just after I joined PEXA, we were running our own software container infrastructure.
