Culture at Pitcher Partners
- Average rating for Culture, based on 17 reviews9.4 / 10
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
The company has a very social culture. There are plenty of functions put on throughout the year and the firm has a very active social club which is a great way to socialise with colleagues outside of work. During office hours there is a healthy mix of serious work focus and fun and conversation amongst my group. The structure of the group is very hierarchical, there are many different levels of people in the group but this is mostly for work reasons. When in the office you do not feel like there is a hierarchy and you are less than anyone it is just used to determine work responsibilities. Cooperation and teamwork is a big part of getting jobs done. At any time you could be working with three other people on a job and communication is a major part of helping everyone function as a team.
It is quiet at work at the moment so generally we work 8:45am-5:15pm. However as we come into busy period, the hours increase to approximately 8:00am-6:30pm
There is no hierarchy, everybody is friends. I spend time with my work colleagues outside of work, on top of the many social activities that are officially organised by the firm.
Great culture. Everyone is approachable and a lot is organised for staff (& sometimes their family). Having worked on a full time basis at several other companies before joining PP, I have to say the culture is much better than at any of my previous employers.
Overall - very supportive senior staff - open to answer all queries/concerns at most times; Very strong after-work socialising culture
A really engaging environment where there are many social events
Partner and Management open door policy. Great for communication and learning. Sociable during work hours and also after hours with multiple functions held regularly
