How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Doors are almost always open and everyone is ready to help
Managers are very accessible, the firm has an open door policy. Managers are very valuable mentors, I have been provided with excellent feedback from managers on areas I am doing well in and areas I should be looking to work on for the best chance at career progression.
The managers are very integrated in our other groups. There are subgroups to ensure you feel/are supported where you can form relationships and turn to others for advice if required.
The managers have their office, but which is outside our desk area. They have glass windows and open doors. They are very approachable, and happy to sit with the rest of us.
Obviously some are better than others, but I have been able to find some (assistant-)managers who are willing to take some time for me and help me to improve my work. On another note, I have been rarely involved with my designated manager.
Senior staff is quite accessible
