Protiviti has a very clear career progression/promotion pathway. This is well-defined. There is sentiment however that talent and effort do not always result in higher remuneration or quicker promotions, and that tenure and the bare minimum are enough.

The lack of interest and investment from my advisor has adversely affected my career development. They have not only encouraged me to hold back in my career development they have actively spoken badly about me to clients in Infront of an entire engagement team with the clients present. Their lack of interest and believe in me from the start caused me to question the value of my own contributions. Thankfully the clients had already spoken to me about the positive impact of my work quality, so I knew not to be disheartened by my advisors' comments. It's frustrating when the person I have to rely on for promotions doesn't have any interest.

I feel like I am progressing normally in terms of career progression, my career advisor/s have been great thus far and provided me with the tools needed to improve. My only problem is that I do not know if I am still technically a graduate.

Clear pathways for promotion and tenure criteria. Documentation is provided on what is expected at each level and everyone is assigned a career mentor to help you achieve your professional goals. There is also training at each level eg. the Consulting challenge An online portal is the basis for giving and receiving feedback which helps support this.
