Our growing legal practice is made up of a team of lawyers who work collaboratively with other business specialists within the firm to provide expert commercially-focused legal services for our clients. The team harnesses the strengths of a leading professional services firm to create a multi-disciplinary practice that is truly unique.

With more than 3,200 lawyers in 90+ countries, we bring the power of a global network to help Australian businesses, not-for-profit organisations and governments assess their performance and improve the way they work so that they can make even greater impact.

In Australia, we're currently one of the fastest growing legal practices. As we continue to grow, we are focused on attracting and developing high potential legal talent, identifying the best lawyers of the future through our graduate and clerkship programs.

PwC's Legal practice revolves around five key pillars:

  • Corporate Advisory (including; M&A, private equity, funds, corporate and commercial law)
  • Employment and Workplace Relations
  • Projects
  • Finance
  • Digital

About the opportunity

As a Clerk, you'll provide support to our team through legal research, document management, client and team liaison, and maintenance of legal precedents. You'll gain invaluable exposure to the fundamentals of commercial law in one or more of our key pillars, and gain a practical understanding of how to use legal skills to solve our clients' problems. The projects you work on will see you learning from leading legal professionals as well as other business professionals who will help to develop a broad skill set and unleash your potential.

About you!

If you believe that lawyers can create meaningful change as much as we do, you'll find yourself in the right place with us. You'll feel comfortable demonstrating your ability to produce high-quality and timely legal research and writing, be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have a strong interest in learning more about corporate advisory, regulatory; projects, finance and infrastructure (including real estate), employment and industrial relations, or tax.

The Legal Clerkship program is open to students in their penultimate year of their legal studies.

Please note: If you've already taken the time to apply for a vacation program position with us earlier in 2018, your previous online assessment results will be taken into consideration for this application.
