Qantas Graduate Stories

I did a summer internship with the company, which gave me an opportunity to learn more about Qantas and discover how fascinating the airline industry is. 

I really love the aspect of staring into the future and imagining what travel for our customers and workplaces for our people will look like as technology evolves to support us.

There are many things I love about my job; the responsibility, the amazing view from the sky and the fact that each day is never the same.

When I started I had no idea, career-wise, what I wanted to do. Now I have a better idea, at least to start. I also know where I need to improve and expand my range of skills. 

Steve studied a Master of Professional Accounting at the University of Technology, Sydney and is now a Senior Remuneration Analyst at Qantas.

Working in different areas of the business has allowed me to build a well-rounded skillset and a holistic understanding of the Qantas Group.

It’s cliché but true – I knew from the start that I wanted a grad role in an organisation that I believed in and would be proud to say I worked for. 

I love the fact that my job is really high level and looks at the Qantas Group the way the shareholders would.
