Our host company partner is a family business that commenced in 1979 and currently operates 6 depots in 4 states. They operate a fleet of lunch vans that take the lunch bar directly to workplaces regularly. In addition, they run their own bakeries and production kitchens to ensure products are fresh daily, with daily leftovers donated to soup vans daily.

Key Tasks & Duties

  • Management of employee records via fully integrated HRMS
  • Onboarding of employees
  • Termination processes
  • Workcover claims management for 4 states.
  • End to end payroll processes
  • Human resources support for managers local and remotely - 4 states

Projects

  • System changes associated with changes to Super Choice Rules
  • Update of Policies and Procedures
  • Implementation of Casual Conversion record-keeping system
  • LSL Audit
  • Review of Superannuation default fund in preparation for EA negotiations.

Knowledge & Skills

You are completing a degree or diploma in HR or having HR as a major for a degree in another study stream. Technical knowledge of standard Fair Work processes or precedents, problem-solving, and the ability to think laterally would be preferred.

The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated Mentor and Placement Consultant to guide, coach and offer career advice throughout the internship placement.
