Awarded by AAGE as one of the top 40 Intern programs, Saab Australia will give you the opportunity to put into practice, what you have been learning throughout your studies, and gain invaluable experience in a defence and security company.

Our paid internship program runs for up to 12 weeks over the December to February period. During this placement, you will work alongside our expert engineers gaining experience on real-life projects and case studies. You will learn from colleagues who are specialists in their field and develop your skills and knowledge further.

To be eligible for the Saab Australia Internship Program, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • You will be in your penultimate year, OR have completed at least 3 years of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, specialising in Computer Science, Software, Computer Systems, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical/Mechatronics or similar technical discipline
  • You will be an Australian citizen and able to meet defence industry security requirements
