    Awarded by AAGE as one of the top 40 Intern programs, Saab Australia will give you the opportunity to put into practice, what you have been learning throughout your studies, and gain invaluable experience in a defence and civil solutions company.

    Our paid internship program, runs for up to 12 weeks over the December to February period. During this placement, you will work alongside our world leading Saab engineers gaining experience on real-life projects and case studies. You will learn from colleagues who are experts in their field and develop your skills and knowledge further.

    We recruit talented high-achievers, who are inquisitive problem-solvers; and who have a passion for delivering products that will help to keep people safe.

    To be eligible for the Saab Australia Internship Program, you will need to meet the following criteria:

    • You will be in your penultimate year, OR have completed at least 3 years of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, specialising in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Software or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science; and
    • To work at Saab you must comply with defence industry security requirements (i.e. you will be an Australian citizen or able to meet eligibility requirements)

    Applications open 29 July 2019 and close 16 August 2019.
